Patty Glines-Kotecki

Patty Glines-Kotecki, PhD, SPHR, CPT has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Patty currently serves as the Head of People for Fiskars Americas, a role they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Adjunct Faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, starting in December 2019.

Patty has also served as the Vice President of Human Resources at American Financing from October 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they held the role of Organizational Change Management Leader for Business Transformation at Alliant Energy from March 2019 to October 2021.

From April 2016 to March 2019, Patty worked as the Senior Director and Organizational Effectiveness Leader at Spectrum Brands, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Human Capital Services Senior Strategist at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP from April 2015 to March 2016.

A significant part of Patty's career was spent at CUNA Mutual Group, where they held multiple roles from August 2005 to April 2015. These roles include Director of HR from July 2007 to April 2015, and Senior Manager of Learning Infrastructure from August 2005 to July 2007.

Patty began their professional journey at Accenture in August 1997. During their time there, they held various positions such as Human Capital Program Manager - Global Programs from January 2001 to July 2005, Capability Development Manager from September 1998 to December 2000, and Learning Consultant/Instructional Designer from August 1997 to August 1998.

Patty Glines-Kotecki, PhD, SPHR, CPT, holds a PhD in Education with an emphasis on Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University, obtained from 2007 to 2011. Patty also has a MSEd in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University, earned from 1998 to 2000. Their undergraduate degree, a BA in Anthropology/Sociology, was completed at Rollins College from 1993 to 1997. Patty also holds various certifications including Certified Performance Technologist from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), Culture Index, Leadership Architect from Korn Ferry, ProSci Change Management from Prosci, and SPHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
