Brendan Keenan currently serves as the Director of Social Emotional Learning at Fitchburg Public Schools since August 2023. In addition to this role, Brendan has extensive experience in academia, holding positions as a Lecturer at Assumption University and New England College, along with a Senior Lecturer role at Northeastern University. Brendan also contributes as a blogger for Edutopia and serves as an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Education at Worcester State University. With a background in community health, Brendan has previously worked as the Chief of Community Health for the City of Worcester and as a Community Representative for the Institutional Biosafety Committee at Saint-Gobain North America. Brendan's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Certificate in Advanced Educational Leadership from Harvard, and a Master of Social Work from Salem State University.
