Huw Davies has a diverse work experience in the fields of game development, software engineering, and sound design. Huw most recently worked at FitXR as a Senior Unity Engineer, where they served as the Tech Lead of Content Tools Development and worked on gameplay, editor, and internal tools. Prior to that, they were a Gameplay Programmer at Fusebox Games, where they contributed to the development of the popular mobile game Love Island: The Game and also worked on internal tools development. Huw also worked as a Unity Developer at Wagstaffs and as a Director at inTeratocs. In addition, they have Java development experience from their time at Alfa^. Huw has also held positions at the University of Oxford and ROLI, where they served as a Warden and Sound Designer, respectively.

Huw Davies obtained their education in the field of music, focusing on generative music composition. Huw started their journey at City, University of London, where they completed a Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree between 2005 and 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Music Theory and Composition at the same institution, graduating in 2010. Huw's academic journey culminated at the University of Oxford, where they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) program in Generative Music Composition from 2010 to 2015.
