Paul Carpenter began their work experience in 1994 as a programmer at Perfect Entertainment. Paul then worked at Electronic Arts (EA) from 1998 to 2000 as a programmer. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a programmer at Pivotal Games. In 2000, they also worked as a programmer at Hothouse. From 2004 to 2006, they were a lead programmer at Icon Games Entertainment Ltd. At Laughing Jackal, they worked as a lead software engineer from 2006 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were a senior programmer at Marmalade. Paul then worked as a DevOps Engineer at If You Can Company from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a senior server engineer at Hutch. Currently, they are a lead engineer at FitXR starting from September 2018.
Paul Carpenter attended Taverham High School from 1987 to 1991, although no degree or field of study was specified during this time. Paul then went on to Norwich City College, where they pursued a BTEC degree in Business Studies and Computer Science from 1991 to 1993.
