Carissa Kan Cheung is an experienced acupuncturist and educator with a diverse background in both traditional Chinese medicine and engineering. Currently serving as an acupuncturist at Panakos Acupuncture Clinic since March 2021 and holding the position of associate professor at Five Branches University since September 2015, Carissa has also contributed to the clinic as an acupuncturist from May 2015 to December 2020. Prior to their career in traditional Chinese medicine, Carissa worked in the technology sector as a senior ASIC designer at PMC-Sierra and Agilent Technologies, and as an ASIC design engineer at Hewlett-Packard. Carissa holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
