Marcel Thomas

Instructor,Coach at Five-Star Basketball

Marcel Thomas has been working in the basketball industry since 2002. Marcel started as an Instructor and Coach for Five-Star Basketball, then moved on to become the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Southlake High School in 2005. In 2006, they also became a Camp Instructor and Coach at the University of Central Florida. In 2010, they became the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Leesburg High School, leading the basketball program to back-to-back State Championship appearances and Regional Titles in 2011 and 2012. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Head Men's Basketball Coach at All Saints' Academy and also owned and operated Collective Dreams LLC. During this time, they also founded and directed Coach Thomas' Future Stars Basketball Camps. In 2016, they left their Head Men's Basketball Coach role at Lake Minneola High School to become the owner of Thomas Supports Services LLC. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Ocoee High School.

Marcel Thomas completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine between 2011 and 2013. Marcel also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Virginia State University between 1995 and 2002. During 1997 and 1998, they attended Florida State University for Sports Management but did not receive a degree.
