Bruce Commander

Bruce Commander has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bruce currently holds the position of Vice President of Warehouse Operations and Continuous Improvement at Five Star Food Service, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Continuous Improvement at the same company.

Before joining Five Star Food Service, Inc., Bruce worked as a Business Development Manager at NewCold from 2019 to 2021. Bruce also gained experience in continuous improvement in global supply chain operations at J.R. Simplot Company from 2017 to 2019.

Bruce has a background in logistics and process improvement, as evidenced by their roles at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. from 2014 to 2017 and Buffalo Rock Pepsi from 2012 to 2014. At Buffalo Rock Pepsi, they managed supply chain operations and led continuous improvement efforts through Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Bruce worked as a Senior Associate at DB&A - DeWolff, Boberg & Associates, Inc. from 2009 to 2012. In this role, they worked with Fortune 500 companies across multiple continents to restructure operations and implement lean process improvement projects.

Bruce began their professional career at UPS, where they held management roles from 2006 to 2009.

Bruce Commander obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geology from The University of Alabama. Bruce attended the university from 1995 to 2000. Later on, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from Jacksonville University's Davis College of Business. Bruce completed this program from 2007 to 2009.
