Makayla Johnson

MaKayla Johnson is an experienced professional in sales and marketing, currently managing sales and marketing efforts for a portfolio of 13 hotels and motels at Five Star Group since July 2023. Prior to this role, MaKayla held various positions in the hospitality industry, including Director of Sales Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott from January 2020 to August 2023 and Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Dalton, GA from June 2018 to March 2022. MaKayla also served as Assistant Manager and Sales Manager at La Quinta Inn & Suites from January 2016 to June 2018, and as Sales Coordinator and Front Desk Associate at La Quinta Inn & Suites from March 2013 to January 2015. In addition to a career in hospitality, MaKayla has pursued photography through Makayla Hembree Photography since January 2017. MaKayla holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belhaven University, completed in 2023.
