I find myself energized by disrupting traditionally white and cishet spaces to make way for others like me. While I’m introverted at heart, I try to use that socially anxious feeling as a vehicle for affecting change in the power structures that we all operate within. Every single person at Fiveable understands what’s at stake for students. And we don’t settle for anything but the best for our students.

Since joining Fiveable, I’ve focused my life around building up the next generation of global leaders and changemakers. Dedicating my time and energy to students is how I feel I can eat create the most meaningful and scalable impact beyond my own personal means and abilities. If I can show every student that they’re able to take control of their lives and use their abilities to leave this world better than when they entered it, then I’ll know my time on this planet was completely worth it.

Working with students is uniquely the best part of my job, day in and day out, and it’s an opportunity that I’ve never found at any other company.
