Thierry Best

Thierry Best has extensive experience in the fields of sustainable energy and transportation. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board at EODev since April 2023, Thierry Best focuses on sustainable hydrogen power generation. As an Operating Partner at FiveT Hydrogen AG since December 2021, Thierry Best is involved in building the hydrogen economy through a private infrastructure fund. Thierry Best's previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director at Alstom from January 1998 to October 2021, where responsibilities encompassed engineering and manufacturing of rolling stock solutions, as well as overseeing product policy and project execution. Thierry Best also held the position of Senior Vice President for Alstom Transport China from July 1999 to July 2003, managing joint ventures and business development. Earlier in the career, Thierry Best served as a Commercial Counsellor for the French Ministry of Finance from June 1986 to January 1998, supporting French exporting companies. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from ENA and an MBA in Economics from Sciences Po.
