Amanda Poitra

Amanda Poitra has a robust work experience spanning several decades. Amanda began their career in 1989 at Barrick Goldstrike Corporation, where they served as the Employee Relations Director until 1992. Amanda then joined The Clorox Company, where they held the positions of Group HR Manager from 1992 to 1997, and later became the Strategic Initiatives HR Manager for Latin America from 1998 to 2001.

In 2003, Amanda moved on to STC, where they served as the Vice President of Human Resources. Amanda played a crucial role in developing and implementing a global Human Resources model, as well as creating organizational plans and initiatives to enhance leadership development and organizational effectiveness.

Following their time at STC, Amanda joined Silgan Plastics LLC in 2006 as the Vice President of Human Resources. Amanda worked closely with Silgan Holdings Inc. and led the Human Resources function for the company's 23 manufacturing facilities in North America.

In 2011, Amanda transitioned to Alacer Gold Corp, where they held the position of Chief Organizational Development & Human Resources Officer until 2013.

Finally, they joined FJ Management in 2013 and has held various executive roles. Amanda started as the Chief Human Resources Officer and later became the Chief Administrative Officer in 2020, taking on additional responsibilities. Amanda continues to contribute to FJ Management and its subsidiaries, including Maverik, Big West Oil, and TAB Bank.

Amanda Poitra attended the University of Mary from 1983 to 1986. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies.
