James Shein

James Shein serves as the Director and Chair of the Special Committee of the Board of Directors at Triangle Petroleum Corporation since February 2016. Additionally, James holds the position of Professor of Management & Strategy at the Kellogg School of Management since August 2002. James has experience as Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for both Wrightwood Capital and FJ Management, the latter of which is part of the $18B Flying J company, as well as Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for Electrical Controls International. Previous roles include directorship at Real Mex Restaurants and Atari Inc., where James chaired the Governance Committee. Educational credentials include an MBA and Doctorate in Business with a focus on Organizational Behavior from Indiana University, a JD in Law with a focus on Governance from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, and a B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University.
