Sigrun Syverud has a wealth of professional experience, beginning in 2012 when they interned at the Permanent Delegation to the United Nations Vienna/Norwegian Embassy for Utenriksdepartementet. During this same year, they also served as a Blogger for Initiative Neue Soziale Marktwirtschaft, writing about economics and finance. In 2013, they held the roles of Head of Organization and Project Manager for Start NHH with Start Norge. In 2014, they were the Founder of Club-Mate Norge DA, Business Development for mCASH, and an Intern for McKinsey & Company. In 2015, they worked as an Analyst for Arctic Securities AS and Corporate Finance for Arkwright Corporate Finance. In 2019, they joined Unconventional Ventures as a member of their Founders Collective. Most recently, in 2017, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of FJONG Norge AS, a company that is transforming the world's second most polluting, $1.7 trillion global fashion industry by introducing a convenient way to rent and share clothes.
Sigrun Syverud obtained their Bachelor degree in Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2008 and 2012. In 2012, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Summer School in Business Analysis and Valuation. Sigrun then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 2013 and 2014, specializing in Finance, General.
