John Budriss SHRM-SCP, SPHRi has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. John has held various senior leadership positions in different companies. From 2016 to the present, they have been serving as the SVP, Head of Enterprise Data Strategy, Products & Analytics at New York Community Bank (NYCB). Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Talent & Diversity Officer at NYCB from 2016 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive diversity and talent strategies and managing talent acquisition. John has also been a member of the Human Resources management team and various committees such as the ESG Committee.

Before joining NYCB, John worked as an Executive Director at Sheffield Haworth in 2015. Prior to that, they held key roles at Boyden from 2012 to 2015, including Partner & Managing Director and Board Member - NY. John also worked at Bloomberg from 2010 to 2013, where they served as the Global Head of Recruiting & Internal Mobility, Experienced Hires and Global Head of Human Resources - Enterprise Products & Solutions. Additionally, John has experience in Thomson Reuters, where they held positions such as Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Global Head of Recruiting - Reuters Content. John started their career as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at Lloyd Staffing in 1999.
