Laura Navarro Rosado M.ed

Laura Navarro Rosado, M.Ed has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Laura currently holds the position of Managing Director, Education at Flamboyan Foundation since January 2023. Before joining Flamboyan Foundation, they worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico where they held various roles including Education Program Manager, Unit Director, and Educational Coordinator from August 2012 to June 2017. Prior to that, Laura worked as an Education Specialist at Anisa, Inc. starting in April 2012. Laura 'searly experience includes working as a Spanish Teacher at Cap Cana Heritage School from August 2008 to June 2011.

Laura Navarro Rosado, M.Ed has a diverse education history spanning several institutions. Laura began their educational journey at Universidad de Puerto Rico, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from 1999 to 2004. After completing their undergraduate degree, Laura continued their studies at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus. There, they obtained a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, which they pursued from 2006 to 2008.

In terms of certifications, Laura has demonstrated their commitment to professional development. Laura obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from The CPD Standards Office in September 2021. Additionally, they acquired a Mindfulness Teacher certification from MindBe Education in the same month and year. In July 2020, Laura obtained a certification in Cognitive Neuroscience Applied to Education from The Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience. Furthermore, in January 2018, they completed a Professional Certificate in Destrezas Emprendedoras en niños y jóvenes from Universidad de Salamanca. Lastly, Laura obtained a Certificación de Maestros from the Puerto Rico Department of Education in May 2011.

Laura's pursuit of further educational advancement is evident, as they are currently working towards obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Psychology-Consulting, Research, and College Teaching from Universidad Albizu. Laura enrolled in this doctoral program in 2022 and is dedicated to expanding their knowledge and contributing to the field.
