Mohsen Akbarzadeh

Mohsen Akbarzadeh is a seasoned business developer and battery expert currently working at Flanders Make since April 2021, where responsibilities include driving collaboration in battery technologies, supporting companies with battery solutions, and coordinating large EU-funded projects. With a strong track record in proposal development, grant acquisition, and networking at international events, Mohsen has also previously served as a research engineer focused on advanced battery systems, leading technical developments and cost analyses. Prior experience includes project engineering at MOBI VUB, where the design of innovative battery cooling systems was a key focus. Mohsen holds a PhD in Engineering Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
