Badriveer Thota

Badriveer Thota has work experience in three different companies.

From December 2016 to January 2017, Thota worked as a Quality Engineer Intern at Tata Advanced Systems Ltd.

From July 2020 to February 2021, Thota worked at Filament AI as a Solutions Developer - Industrial AI. Their responsibilities included front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, and React, as well as setting up PLC communications using a Python framework. They also integrated software applications with computer vision models and PLC equipment to identify defective mechanical parts.

Currently, starting from February 2021, Thota is working at Flash Forest as an Engineering Lead, although there is no end date specified for this role.

Badriveer Thota obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Badriveer Thota has obtained several certifications. Badriveer acquired a Restricted Operator's Certificate from Industry Canada in August 2021. In July 2021, they earned an RPAS Pilot Certificate - Advanced Operations from Transport Canada - Transports Canada. Furthermore, they received a Food Handler Certification from Ontario Food Safety Training in March 2023. Lastly, they completed Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid training provided by the Canadian Red Cross in January 2022.
