Jan-Eric Schmidt

Jan-Eric Schmidt currently serves as the Manager of Compliance, AML & Fraud Prevention at flatexDEGIRO since July 2022. Previously, Jan-Eric held positions at PwC Deutschland from March 2019 to July 2022, progressing from Associate to Senior Associate in Assurance for Financial Services Compliance. Prior experience includes a role as PMO for IT Service Desk Consolidation at DB Schenker in late 2018 and an internship in Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering at TARGOBANK in early 2018. Jan-Eric also contributed as a student assistant at Fachhochschule Bielefeld. Jan-Eric obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Wirtschaftsrecht from Hochschule Bielefeld and completed earlier education at the University of Cologne and Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium, earning an Abitur.
