Sebastian Mattheis

Sebastian Mattheis is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Client Tax at flatexDEGIRO since January 2019. Prior to this role, Sebastian worked at DWS Group from April 2014 to December 2018 as a Steuerberater and Head of Fund Taxation Requirements & Implementation. At KPMG Deutschland, Sebastian held the positions of Assistant Manager in Financial Services Tax and Werkstudent in Corporate Tax Services from November 2010 to March 2014, after completing an internship in the same department from December 2009 to May 2010. Earlier in career development, Sebastian gained experience through internships at H.-F. Breiler & H.-J. Schnabl OHG in 2008 and United Data GB Ltd. in 2007. Sebastian holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from The Philipp University of Marburg, earned between 2004 and 2010.
