Amine Lahlou

Amine Lahlou is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and design management within the civil engineering sector. Currently serving as Design Manager for the Bridges division on the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project at Flatiron Construction since July 2022, Amine oversees a $3.4 billion design-build initiative in Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to this role, Amine held the position of Senior Lead Structural Engineer at WSP USA from April 2015 to April 2022, where responsibilities included the verification of significant bridge projects, notably on the I-66 Express Lanes in Northern Virginia. Earlier experience as a Structural Engineer at AECOM from October 2013 to January 2016 involved preparing design calculations for a variety of bridge types utilizing AASHTO specifications. Amine holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina and has a background in Applied Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
