Brian Gettinger

Brian Gettinger has over 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. Brian'smost recent role is as the Vice President of Project Development at Flatiron Construction, starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Tunneling at Southland Holdings from September 2022 to June 2023. Before that, they worked at The Boring Company as a Business Development Lead from May 2021 to September 2022. From March 2020 to May 2021, they were an Associate and Tunneling Services Leader at Freese and Nichols. Brian also had a notable role at Black & Veatch, where they served as the Infrastructure Systems Business Line Deputy and Project/Program Manager from June 2006 to October 2018, overseeing strategic business development and major engineering projects in various locations.

Brian Gettinger has a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Brian also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy from the same university. In terms of certifications, they are a Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) with certifications from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, and the Missouri Division of Professional Registration. Additionally, they are a LEED AP certified by USGBC.
