Karina Pikhart

Karina Pikhart is a Senior Data Insights Engineer at Flatiron Health, focusing on improving the lives of cancer patients through data analysis since December 2018. Prior to this role, Karina held positions at Amazon as a Senior Technical Program Manager and at Amazon Robotics as a Solutions Analytics Engineer. Karina founded 6dot Innovations, creating the 6dot Braille labeler to assist the visually impaired, leading to the company's acquisition by ProxTalker. A graduate researcher at Stanford University's Otobiomechanics Lab, Karina published research on cochlear processes and was a recipient of an NSF Fellowship. Earlier experience includes internships at Advanced Bionics and Boston Scientific, contributing to projects on cochlear implants and neurostimulators, and an internship at Boeing focusing on engine components. Karina earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
