Derek Rankin

Derek Rankin currently serves as the Manager of Flavor R&D and is a Certified Senior Flavorist at Flavor Dynamics, Inc., a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Derek amassed significant experience in the flavor industry, including positions as Senior Flavorist and Flavorist at Symrise AG from November 2018 to July 2023, and as a Flavorist at PepsiCo between January 2017 and October 2018. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Flavorist at Bell Flavors & Fragrances and as a Flavorist Trainee at Flavor Dynamics, Inc. Additionally, Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Centenary University and an Associate of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Raritan Valley Community College.
