Cindy Huffman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cindy'smost recent position was as the Director of Family & Community Engagement at The Florida Department of Education, where they implemented various initiatives and received accolades for their contribution. Before that, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Tallahassee Community College in the Adult Education/Workforce Development department. Cindy also served as the Adult Education Coordinator & Instructor for the ITA Program at the Florida Department of Corrections. Additionally, Cindy worked as a Program Director and Instructor for Early Childhood Music at Musikgarten and held various roles at the Florida Department of Corrections and The Florida Department of Education. Cindy started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida State University and later served as a Studio Director & Piano Instructor at Limestone College.

Cindy Huffman completed their education history with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in World Religions, Women's Studies, and Social Studies Education from Florida State University, which they obtained in 1994. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in World Religions and Music Education from Converse University in 1987. Additionally, Cindy obtained a certification as a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) from the Florida Department of Management Services in August 2021.
