Charles Feehrer, FCCM, has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. Charles is currently serving as the Bureau Chief of Grants Administration and Compliance at The Florida Department of Education. In this role, Charles is responsible for overseeing the administration of federal and state grants, as well as ensuring compliance with grant guidelines. Prior to this, they worked as an Educational Consultant and Grant Manager at The Florida Department of Education, where they managed grants aimed at expanding apprenticeship and preapprenticeship programs. Charles also has experience as a Grants Specialist at the Florida Office of the Attorney General, a Regional Duty Officer at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and an Account Manager at Cone Distributing, Inc. Additionally, they served as a Retail Manager at Market Square Liquors, where they managed staff, handled inventory control, and performed daily bookkeeping duties. Charles began their career as an Undergraduate Student at Florida State University and also worked as a Reading Tutor for AmeriCorps.
Charles Feehrer, FCCM, began their education at Amos P Godby High School, where they received their High School Diploma in the year 2000. Following this, they attended Tallahassee Community College from 2000 to 2002, obtaining an Associate of Arts degree.
Continuing their educational journey, Charles enrolled at Florida State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Charles studied at Florida State University from 2004 to 2007, graduating with their BA.
Additionally, in July 2018, Charles obtained a certification as a Florida Certified Contract Manager from the Florida Department of Management Services.
