Matthew Nuss

Matthew Nuss has a comprehensive work experience in the maritime industry. Matthew started their career in 2004 as a Meteorological Intern at the National Weather Service. In 2005, they joined Fleetweather Group LLC as a Router/Marine Claims Analyst, where they provided ship routing and forecasting services to large cargo ship fleets worldwide. Matthew also managed a team of meteorological technicians and provided marine performance claim assistance to global clients. Throughout their tenure at Fleetweather, Matthew held various roles including Marine Claims Supervisor/Senior Router, Duty Director of Marine Claims, Senior Marine Router, and Director of Marine Claims. Currently, they hold the position of Duty Director of Marine Operations.

Matthew Nuss earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University at Albany, SUNY. Matthew attended this institution from 2001 to 2005.
