Alan Rheault

Alan Rheault has a wealth of experience in the furniture and industrial design industries. Alan started their career in 1986 at Sundberg-Ferar as an Industrial Designer. Alan then moved on to American Seating Company in 1988, where they continued to work as an Industrial Designer until 1994. In 1994, they joined Steelcase Health as an Industrial Designer and eventually became the Director of Product Design in 2005, a role they held until 2015. In 2015, they joined Steelcase as an Applied Research Consultant until 2016. Currently, they are working at Fleetwood Furniture as the VP of Industrial Design and has also held the position of Chief Furniture Designer since 2017.

Alan Rheault earned an Associate degree in Technical Illustration from Ferris State University from 1981 to 1983. Alan then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Western Michigan University between 1983 and 1986. Lastly, Alan completed a Master's degree in Management at Aquinas College - Grand Rapids from 1998 to 2000.
