Fleisher Art Memorial
Matthew Crump is an experienced program manager currently working at ArtistYear, the first national AmeriCorps program dedicated to service in the arts, where responsibilities include supporting Resident Teaching Artists in curriculum development and classroom observations. Crump has held multiple roles in the arts and education sectors, including classroom lead at Fleisher Art Memorial and tutor at TEACH LLC, where support was provided to students in various subjects. Previous experience as a media and culture writer for Lil Filmmakers involved analyzing films for their social impact. Additional roles include serving as a Resident Teaching Artist at ArtistYear during its inaugural year and various positions at Philadelphia Film Society, City Year, and University of North Carolina at Asheville, among others. Crump holds a Master’s degree in Screenwriting from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
