Martin Halusa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Martin currently serves as the Head of Media Relations & Content at FleishmanHillard Germany GmbH since September 2021. Before their banking career, Martin worked as a Spokesperson at Dresdner Bank from October 2005 to May 2008. Prior to that, they held various roles at Die WELT, including EU Correspondent in Brussels, US Correspondent in New York City, Deputy head of the business, economics, and finance section in Berlin, and Business Desk Editor, showcasing their expertise in journalism.

Martin began their career as a Political Correspondent at Deutscher Depeschen Dienst (ddp) from July 1989 to October 1990.

Martin Halusa attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a Master of Journalism degree. Martin'sstudies focused on economics, communications, and politics. During the same period, they also attended Deutsche Journalistenschule (DJS) in Munich, where they earned the degree of Editor and Reporter. In 1990, they participated in the Arthur F. Burns Fellowship through the International Journalists' Programmes (IJP) at Contra Costa Times in Walnut Creek, California. In 1995, they took part in The Asian Fellowship program through IJP, working for Business Times in Singapore. In 2007, Halusa obtained a Certified Communicator certification while at Allianz SE.
