Antonio Pallares

IOS Lead at Fleksy

Antonio Pallares is an iOS developer who has been working in the field for over 7 years. Antonio started their career as a freelancer, developing full iOS apps. Some of their most notable work includes Alive Photos, which allows users to take real-time Live Photos with any iOS 9.1+ device, and ShopAppList, a shopping list app that is compatible with Apple Watch. In 2015, Antonio began working at Solera, Inc. as a Senior iOS developer. There they were the main developer of the QapterSync iOS app. After a year at Solera, Antonio joined CARTO as an iOS Engineer. At CARTO, Antonio worked on a wide variety of iOS projects, including the development of an indoor navigation SDK and an outdoor turn-by-turn navigation SDK. Antonio was also the main iOS developer of the official Spanish app for COVID-19 self-diagnosis, Assistance Covid-19. In 2018, Antonio left CARTO to join SDOS as an iOS Developer. Antonio is currently the iOS Team Lead at Fleksy, where they have been working for the past 10 months.

Antonio Pallares has a research doctorate from the Universidad de Sevilla in mathematics, which they completed in 2016 with a PhD project on "High Contrast Homogenization Problems." Antonio also has a master's degree in mathematics from the Universidad de Sevilla from 2012-2013, and a licentiate degree in mathematics from the Universidad de Sevilla from 2007-2012. In 2010-2011, they were on an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Kaiserslautern in mathematics. In 2018, they completed a course on Swift development for Objective-C developers from KeepCoding. Finally, they have a Scrum Master certification from Tetralog.
