Dezerine Fernando

Dezerine Fernando currently serves as an Intake Counselor at Flemingdon Health Centre since August 2023. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Toronto Metropolitan University between August 2021 and August 2023, including Guest Experience Lead and Student Learning Group Leader, along with positions focused on academic support. Additionally, Dezerine completed placements at Worker's Action Centre and Hope and Me - Mood Disorders Association of Ontario in early 2023, among other previous internships and roles, including a reception position at Jewish Family and Child Service. Dezerine holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University and a high school diploma from The Cambridge High School in Abu Dhabi.
