Joe Locandro

Joe Locandro was appointed Chief Information Officer in March 2022.

Joe joins Fletcher Building in New Zealand after holding CIO and Chief Digital Officer roles in Australia, Hong Kong and the Middle East for more than two decades where he has led Information Technology strategies and functions in major companies.

Prior to this, Joe worked at the Australian Energy Market Operator where he was responsible for digital and business transformation.

He has been at the forefront of Digital IT strategy and innovation in the aviation industry for some of the world's biggest airlines, including Emirates and Cathay Pacific Airways. His experience in the energy sector has seen him successfully lead the development and delivery of new digital and data platforms in business.

Joe has served as a Board Member and Council Member of the Société Internationale de Telecommunications Aéronautiques (SITA) and is Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Commerce from University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Monash University, and has attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
