Brandy Sevin M.ed.

Brandy Sevin, M.Ed. has diverse work experience in the education field. Brandy currently serves as the Department Head of Business at Fletcher Technical Community College since May 2022. Brandy previously held the role of Program Coordinator for Office Systems and Medical Coding at the same institution since January 2020. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor for Computer Office Systems and IT at Fletcher Technical Community College starting from August 2019.

Earlier in their career, Brandy worked as a Virtual Instructor at Imagine Learning from October 2017 to present. Prior to that, they were an Edgenuity Virtual Instructor at Edgenuity Inc. (now Imagine Learning) from October 2017 to August 2021.

Brandy's experience includes working as a Media Specialist at the Lafourche Parish School Board from August 2010 to May 2019. Brandy started their career in education as an English and Business Teacher at the same school board from August 1998 to May 2010.

Brandy Sevin, M.Ed. has a comprehensive education history. Brandy obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a specialization in Educational/Instructional Technology from the American College of Education. Additionally, they earned a Certification in Administration Leadership from the Louisiana Department of Education, focused on School Administration/Principalship.

In 2019, Brandy received a Certification in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and pursued a similar certification from the Texas Department of Education, specializing in the same field. Brandy is also working towards a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Business and English Education from the Idaho Department of Education.

Alongside their formal education, Brandy has achieved various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Notable certifications include the Disney Institute of Leadership, Career Essentials in Generative AI by Microsoft and LinkedIn, and multiple IC3 Digital Literacy Certifications. Brandy has also obtained certifications from Microsoft, Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business, Wakelet, QM Quality Matters, Screencastify, TestOut Corporation, and is a Microsoft Certified Educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator.
