Michiel van Bellen

Michiel van Bellen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2013, they co-founded EDB Development, a company focused on building information systems and developing custom business software and web applications. Michiel also served as the Founding Director of Wielerdeals, a fast-growing webshop for bicycle components and accessories. In 2014, Michiel worked as a Warehouse Logistics Manager at Roof Rack Store. Michiel then transitioned to a role as an Interim Supply Chain Specialist at Yacht in 2015.

In 2016, Michiel joined Royal FrieslandCampina as a Business Consultant, where they bridged the gap between functional SAP consultants and business representatives. Michiel provided technical solutions within the SAP corporate template and conducted trainings for key users in the Purchase to Pay domain. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as an Inhouse SAP Consultant at Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf, where they supported the company's SAP IT and assisted with Procurement projects.

In 2019, Michiel started their own software company called Mitch IT, where they developed a web application platform called Cloud-Crewing for maritime service providers. Michiel coded and designed the platform using various technologies such as Python, Django, Postgresql, Javascript, Jquery, and React.

In 2020, Michiel joined SPIE as a Senior SAP Consultant MM, where they worked until 2021. Michiel then founded Vanbellen Ventures, and in 2021, they became the Managing Director of Flexbox Crewing. Throughout their career, Michiel has demonstrated their expertise in software development, SAP consultancy, supply chain management, and business development.

Michiel van Bellen obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business from an unspecified institution between 2008 and 2012. Michiel then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Supply Chain Management from 2011 to 2013. In 2010, they participated in an Exchange Semester University Wide Program at KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
