Cristian Cortes

Cristian Cortes is an experienced Optimization Engineer at Flexciton since December 2022, with a strong background in artificial intelligence and data science. Prior to this role, Cristian served as an Artificial Intelligence Specialist at Teleperformance, where innovation projects were led for customer solutions. Cristian's expertise also includes work as a Senior Data Scientist at BBVA, focusing on fraud reduction, and as a Data Scientist at Banco de Bogotá, where analytics projects enhanced business performance. Earlier experiences include a teaching role at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, where support was provided for statistics and optimization courses, as well as internships in logistics and process automation. Cristian holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, along with a Diplomatura in Skills for Digital Transformation.
