Russ Covington

Russ Covington has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Russ is currently serving as the Strategic Market Director (3PL Partner Sourcing) for the Southeast Region at Flexe since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Consulting Leader at Johnson Stephens Consulting (JSC) from July 2019 to May 2021.

In 2018, Russ served as the Director of Sales & Engineering Southern Region at ABCO Systems Inc. Their responsibilities included generating new business development opportunities and fostering relationships with stakeholders in the Southern US region and beyond.

Before joining ABCO Systems Inc, Russ worked at Toys R Us as the Sr. Manager of Industrial Engineering from November 2017 to May 2018. During their tenure, they focused on labor performance management, driving productivity improvements, and enhancing the customer experience across eight distribution/fulfillment centers.

In 2017, Russ held the position of Sr. Manager - Solutions at DB Schenker, where they contributed to the company's operational efficiency. From 2006 to 2017, they served as a Practice Leader/Industrial Engineer at Johnson Stephens Consulting.

Russ Covington started their career as a Manufacturing & Estimating Engineer at Roytec Industries in 2001, and later became the Estimating Manager at Electrical Insulation Supply - Fabrico Division from 2004 to 2005. Throughout their career, Russ has demonstrated their expertise in various roles and industries, showcasing their ability to drive business growth and foster collaborative relationships.

Russ Covington holds an MBA degree in Accounting, Finance, and Management from Kennesaw State University, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Southern Polytechnic State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from 1996 to 2000.
