Kevin Annis

Kevin Annis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Kevin currently holds the position of DevOps Manager at Flexential, a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they were a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Flexential from April 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Flexential, Kevin worked at SiteSpect, Inc. from June 2019 to April 2020. During their time there, they served as an Operations Engineer, where they advised the development team on best practices, developed Helm charts for deploying new products, and managed application environments utilizing Kubernetes and AWS services.

Kevin's earlier experience includes working as an IT Consultant at the Boston University Questrom School of Business from August 2016 to May 2017, and as a System Administrator Intern at J.Crew from June 2016 to August 2016.

Kevin began their career as a Student - Client Support Consultant at the Boston University IT Help Center from May 2014 to May 2016.

Throughout their career, Kevin has developed expertise in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, Kubernetes, and automation tools such as Terraform and Gitlab CI.

Kevin Annis completed their high school education at Telstar Regional High School from 2009 to 2013. Kevin then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Boston University from 2013 to 2017. In 2014, Kevin also participated in a study abroad program at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) for a period of August to December. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in December 2021.
