Veena Bricker

Veena Bricker is the Chief People Officer at Flexential. Veena has over 25 years of experience in human resources and has held leadership positions at Optiv Inc and Blake Street Group.

Bricker began their career at Optiv Inc, where they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, they were responsible for the human capital function in the company. Veena oversaw the merger of two companies and several subsequent acquisitions. Veena also led a cultural shift to a cohesive purpose-aligned culture.

In 2015, Bricker left Optiv Inc to join Blake Street Group as a Principal and Managing Director. In this role, they advised private equity investors, portfolio companies, and corporate clients on their most pressing leadership challenges. Veena also partnered with senior leaders to help maximize success through leadership assessment, leadership development and coaching, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Bricker joined Flexential in 2020 as the Chief People Officer. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, and payroll.

Veena Bricker earned a B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University. Veena then went on to earn a Masters in Industrial & Labor Relations (HR) from Cornell University. Finally, they completed an Advanced Human Resources Executive Program from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

They work with Sherri Liebo - Senior Vice President, Marketing, Tricia Ory - Senior Vice President, Finance, and Megan Fine - General Counsel. Veena Bricker reports to Chris Downie, Chief Executive Officer, Board Member.
