Kannan Manickam

Kannan Manickam is a Senior Engineering Manager of Architecture at Flexera, where responsibilities include guiding technical design decisions and leading a team of Architects across the product portfolio. With a strong foundation in engineering, Kannan has held positions such as Principal Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at both Flexera and RightScale, focusing on the design and architecture of scalable services, particularly utilizing Go and Kubernetes. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at RightScale, Application Support Engineer at Citizens Bank, and Application Support Analyst at W.A. Wilde. Kannan also served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant during the pursuit of a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of West Florida, following a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.
