Mariana Gutierrez L.

Mariana Gutierrez L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mariana started their career as an English and Spanish teacher at Berlitz, where they trained and instructed global-ready individuals and executive management teams. Mariana then worked as a sustainability design intern at SCAD Working Class Studio, where they analyzed trends and developed sustainable designs that were recognized and exhibited. Mariana also served as a creative director at Stand Out Youth Organization, re-branding the organization, increasing engagement, and raising funds through creativity workshops. At Sterling Jewelers, they worked as a jeweler and shop clerk, optimizing inventory management and performing various tasks in a fast-paced environment. Mariana later joined Museum TEOR/éTica as a producer and social media manager, assisting in the production and marketing of exhibitions and managing educational and curatorial experiences. Mariana then worked at Albany Park Community Center as a business developer and planner, assisting entrepreneurs with business innovation and development and creating marketing tools. Mariana also worked at Eatwith as a photographer and taste tester, photographing chefs and dishes and ensuring quality standards. Most recently, Mariana has been working at Flexera, where they started as a business development representative and later transitioned to roles such as senior business development representative, renewals account manager, and strategy team lead. Mariana achieved outstanding performance and was recognized multiple times for their achievements.

Mariana Gutierrez L. earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in Management and minoring in Marketing: Sales Leadership, with a field of study in Entrepreneurial Studies, Magna Cum Laude, from DePaul University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metals and Jewelry, with a minor in Industrial Design, from Savannah College of Art and Design from 2007 to 2011.
