Corey Stone

Corey Stone has a diverse range of work experience in project management and engineering roles. Corey is currently working as a Project Manager at FlexGen since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bluewater Constructors, Inc. as a Project Manager from February 2018 to June 2022. Corey also has experience as a Project Manager/Estimator at Sunland Construction, Inc. and Affiliates from October 2013 to February 2018. Corey briefly worked as a Project Manager at Layne Christensen from June 2013 to October 2013. Corey started their career as a Project Engineer at Wharton Smith from May 2011 to June 2013. Corey also gained experience as a Project Engineer Intern at Balfour Beatty Construction from May 2010 to August 2010. Corey's early career included an internship as a Field Engineer at Garney Construction, where they gained hands-on experience in the construction industry. Prior to their civilian career, Corey served in the United States Army Reserve as a Heavy Equipment Operator from November 2003 to November 2007, gaining experience in operating and managing heavy machinery.

Corey Stone attended Louisiana State University from 2004 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from Lutcher High School in 2004. Corey also attended Escuela Internacional Sampedrana from 2001 to 2003 for their sophomore and junior high school education. Additionally, they attended Baton Rouge Magnet High School for their freshman year in 2000. In terms of certifications, Corey obtained the NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 - Certified certification from NACE International in May 2019.
