Justin Hoglund

Justin Hoglund has over 24 years of work experience in the engineering and product development field. Justin currently serves as the Director of Product Engineering at FlexGen, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, Justin worked at Eaton for 18 years, where they held various roles of increasing responsibility. From March 2022 to June 2022, they served as the Sr. Engineering Manager, leading the global platform development of backup power systems and electric vehicle DC charging systems. Before that, they were the Engineering Manager for Backup Power & Distribution Systems, leading teams in developing and implementing these systems. Justin also has experience as a New Product Introduction Mechanical Engineering Manager, Program Manager, Team Lead Engineer, and Senior Product Engineer during their tenure at Eaton. Justin started their career at Eaton as a Design Engineer for Medium Voltage Control, Motor Starters/Contactors. Justin joined Eaton in 1998 as an Engineering and Manufacturing Professional Development Candidate and worked in that capacity for two years before moving into a full-time engineering role. Overall, Justin has a strong background in manufacturing operations, fabrication, product design, and program management, with a focus on serving the data center and mission critical applications market.

Justin Hoglund earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, Justin pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Justin specialized in Management Consulting, Operations/Strategy and completed their MBA program from 2002 to 2004.
