Zach Fiscus, PE, MEM has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Zach currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager at FlexGen since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sargent & Lundy from 2010 to 2021, taking on various roles including Renewable Energy Project Lead, Team Electrical Lead in the Nuclear Power Group, and Electrical Engineering Associate. During their tenure at Sargent & Lundy, they were responsible for tasks such as developing solar and solar + BESS site plans, performing feasibility studies for potential BESS sites, and reviewing construction drawings and designs for BESS facilities. Additionally, they played a key role in the demolition and retrofitting of gas turbine sites to support new BESS installations. Earlier in their career, Zach worked as an Intern at Midwest ISO in 2009, and at Caterpillar Inc. in 2008. Zach'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in project management, renewable energy, electrical engineering, and internships in the engineering field.
Zach Fiscus, PE, MEM completed their education at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Zach obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following that, Zach pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Northwestern University, which they successfully completed from 2015 to 2019.
