Mahmud Ahmed Usman

Mahmud Ahmed Usman, PhD, is an experienced professional in the fields of technology and education. Currently serving as a Research and Business Growth Executive at FlexiSAF Edusoft Limited since May 2018, Mahmud is responsible for driving growth through the development and execution of strategic growth plans. In addition, Mahmud has been a University Lecturer at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University since June 2010, teaching advanced programming languages. As the Founder and CEO of Cloud9 IT Solutions Limited, Mahmud led the company in providing Supply Chain Management solutions from December 2016 to December 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at The University of Salford, where Mahmud focused on document digitisation and image analysis applications, and as a Software Engineer at FlexiSAF Edusoft Limited, developing a student record management system. Mahmud's educational background includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Salford, an MS in Computing: Information Engineering from Robert Gordon University, and a BTech in Computer Science.
