Annelies Garcia

Annelies Garcia has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Annelies is currently the Commercial Director at Flexjet, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Commercial Director at PrivateFly from February 2020 until their current role. At PrivateFly, they were responsible for global sales and operations, managing the sales team, client services, and business development. Annelies also played a lead role in the migration, rollout, and adoption of Salesforce.

Before joining PrivateFly, Annelies worked at Sommet Education as the Director of Sales and Operations from February 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they oversaw global sales operations for Glion and Les Roches hospitality universities and managed various teams, including sales administration, international student recruitment, lead qualification, business intelligence, and Salesforce CRM.

Annelies also has experience working as the Director of the EPFL Alumni Department at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from January 2011 to October 2017. In this role, they focused on alumni relations and engagement.

Earlier in their career, Annelies worked at Choice Healthcare Solutions, where they held multiple positions. Annelies served as a Key Account Manager from June 2009 to June 2010, where they managed relationships and increased revenue for major accounts. Annelies also worked as a Senior Project Manager from October 2004 to May 2009, organizing various events for pharmaceutical clients and handling contracts, vendor management, and participant communication.

Annelies started their career as a Research Assistant at EPFL, co-authoring and promoting reports on energy and telecommunications services. Annelies also worked as a Project Leader at Croix-Rouge.

Throughout their career, Annelies has demonstrated strong leadership, sales, and operations management skills, as well as expertise in Salesforce migration and event management. Annelies has worked in various industries, including aviation, education, healthcare, and research.

Annelies Garcia earned a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Lausanne - UNIL from 1996 to 2001. Annelies also completed an Executive Master in Business Administration (eMBA) with a focus on Marketing and Corporate Finance from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne from 2014 to 2015.
