Neil Hopgood

Neil Hopgood began their work experience in 1997 as a 3rd Officer at London & Overseas Freighters. Neil then worked as a 2nd Officer at Maersk Shipping from March 1998 to July 1998. Neil joined BP Maritime Services in 1998 as a 2nd Officer and later became a Chief Officer in 2007. Neil transitioned to BP Shipping in 2014, where they served as a Marine Superintendent for LNG Fleet Operations. In 2019, Neil joined FLEX LNG as a Manager, Vetting & Marine Superintendent/CSO, overseeing the transition of the Flex UK workforce and leading the delivery of newbuild LNG vessels.
