Anastasia Chen is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in operations research, strategic data management, and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Data Science Manager at Flexport since June 2023, Anastasia previously held roles at Shopify, where responsibilities included leading teams in inventory management and developing optimization products. Prior to Shopify, Anastasia worked at Civis Analytics, leading teams in survey research and developing data modeling tools for nonprofit organizations. Additional experience includes roles at Analytics Operations Engineering, where contributions involved developing predictive models and optimizing marketing strategies for major retail clients. Anastasia holds a B.S. in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Management Science and Operations from the University of Cambridge.
