Sonia Xie

Sonia (Xiao Tong) Xie currently serves as the Vice President and Controller at Flexport since March 2021, having previously held positions as Senior Director and Assistant Controller within the company. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Financial Reporting at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. from July 2018 to March 2021, where the organization operates as a leading real estate investment trust with extensive property holdings. Prior to that, Sonia was the Controller of the China Business Unit at Mead Johnson Nutrition and managed Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting; the company was acquired by Reckitt Benckiser Group plc in 2017. Earlier in the career, Sonia worked at EY as an Assurance Manager and began with a summer internship. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting from The University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Accountant, with further education from Copenhagen Business School.
