Gareth Brazier

Gareth Brazier has a vast background in various roles within the technology industry. Gareth is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Flick Electric Co. since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Program Management at Flick Electric Co. from February 2021 to January 2023. Gareth also worked as a Program Manager (Contract) at the same company from September 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining Flick Electric Co., Gareth worked as the Project Delivery Manager at Z Energy NZ, where they were responsible for the delivery of change programs, handling project management, business analysis, and test functions. Gareth served in this role from July 2016 to August 2019.

Gareth has also worked at Meridian Energy as the ICT Operations Manager from November 2015 to June 2016, and as the ICT Business Services Manager - Corporate from February 2012 to October 2015.

Earlier in their career, Gareth gained experience at Russell McVeagh as the IT Service Delivery Manager from June 2009 to February 2012. Gareth also worked at Midcounties Co-operative as the Business Intelligence Competency Centre Manager from September 2007 to January 2009, and at Co-operative IT as the IT Business Change Manager from September 2005 to June 2007.

Gareth Brazier holds an MSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Birmingham, which they obtained from 2000 to 2001. Gareth also completed an MBA in Business Intelligence and Management Information from the same university, from 2006 to 2008.
