Dr. Sebastian Becker

Dr. Sebastian Becker has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Sebastian most recently worked at Flightright, starting as a Strategic Partnerships Manager in August 2021 and then transitioning to become a Strategic Partnerships Lead in January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Partnership Manager at Parkling from March 2021 to July 2021, where they were responsible for international partnership management in the mobility sector.

Dr. Becker also has experience in the medical field, having worked at Humedics GmbH as a Sales Operations Manager from September 2020 to November 2020 and as a Sales Management Assistant from September 2019 to September 2020.

In addition, Dr. Becker has a background in academia. At the Austrian Academy of Sciences, they served as a Researcher & Partnership Manager from September 2016 to June 2019, where they conducted research, established networks with European partners, and supervised small teams. Dr. Sebastian also worked as a Deputy Editor for the international journal Archaeologia Austriaca from January 2018 to December 2018, assisting with the editing and publication process.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Becker gained field experience as a Visiting Researcher at Inrap in 2015 and as a Field Archaeologist at the University of Cambridge in 2015. Dr. Sebastian also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from September 2010 to September 2013, where they managed academic outputs and organized international conferences. During this time, they also volunteered at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology as a Collections Assistant and supervised undergraduate students.

Before their academic pursuits, Dr. Becker had roles as a Field Archaeologist at Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart in 2010 and as a Heritage Project Manager at Landesverband Westfalen-Lippe in 2009, where they managed archaeological excavation projects and liaised with stakeholders.

Based on their experience, Dr. Sebastian Becker has developed expertise in strategic partnerships, partnership management, sales operations, research, project coordination, and archaeological fieldwork.

Dr. Sebastian Becker holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Humanities from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Sebastian also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree, both in Humanities, from the same institution. Additionally, they have a certification in Developing Business Partnerships from LinkedIn, which they obtained in July 2021.
